I added myself to a course Wait List, how does it work?

When courses fill, a Wait List option becomes available. Adding yourself to a Wait List does not guarantee registration in a course. If a spot becomes available, a computer-generated email is sent to everyone on the Wait List at the same time, the first member to respond and register through the link in the email, takes the seat.

How does the Stand-by process work?

  • Upon arrival at the Training Centre, find the designated classroom for your course listed on the whiteboard in the front entrance
  • Go to that classroom and inform the Instructor that you are a Stand-by* on the waitlist
  • The instructor will locate your name on the waitlist
  • Wait outside the classroom door and the Instructor will inform you if a seat becomes available
  • If there are multiple Stand-by’s for the same course and a seat or seats become available, you will be taken in order of arrival (first come, first served)

Please Note:

  • You must be on the waitlist to be accepted as a stand-by
  • Waitlist do not carry forward, each course occurrence has its own stand-by list

* A stand-by is an eligible member who has added themselves to a waitlist for a specific course
