EBFA’s Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
Employee Benefit Funds Administration Ltd. (“EBFA”) is the administrative agent for the Board of Trustees of each of the following:
· the Electrical Industry Pension Trust Fund of Alberta;
· the Electrical Industry Insurance Benefit Trust Fund of Alberta; and
· the Electrical Industry Education Trust Fund of Alberta
(together the “Plans”).
To provide administrative services to the Boards of the Plans, EBFA collects, uses and discloses personal information of members and others.

To the extent you provide any personal information to EBFA in relation to your participation in a Plan, your personal information will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with authorization forms you have completed, the applicable Privacy Code and applicable law. This includes personal information that you provide to EBFA through our website, www.ebfa.ca (the “Website”), including in our online portal for members (the “Member Portal”), and information we collect from third parties where you consent or we are permitted by law to do so.
Information Collected Through the Website
To properly administer the Website (including any information disclosed through the Member Portal), EBFA may require access to your personal information, which may include, but is not limited to, name, email address, residential address, telephone number, log data, including but not limited to your computer’s internet protocol ("IP") address, your internet service provider, the pages on the Website you visit, and the time and date of your visit to the Website or Member Portal. We will retain such personal information as long as is reasonably necessary to serve the purpose for which it was collected.
EBFA does not sell, rent, or share personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes, and your personal information will not be accessible by other individuals using the Website or Member Portal.
