Employee Assistance Program


Eligible Plan Members and their Dependents can receive benefits through their Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through “LifeWorks” by Morneau Shepell, which provides confidential and professional counselling, community referrals, multimedia resources and online access to hundreds of free articles. The Plan Member and their Dependents can receive short-term counseling from a professional counselor (either in person, over the phone), or through LifeWorks internet site at, or connect via mobile app.

You can call LifeWorks toll-free any time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to speak confidentially with a consultant about work, life and everything in between.  You may also visit your EAP program website which provides hundreds of articles and educational resources such as booklets, toolkits, assessments, podcasts, full-length audio recordings/CDs and more.  LifeWorks also has a free mobile app available exclusively to LifeWorks claimants.  Plan Members can obtain the app on their iPhone, Android, or BlackBerry by searching for “LifeWorks” on the device.
