Call for Indigenous Role Model Recommendations – Building Trades of Alberta Calendar Project

Brothers and Sisters,

The Building Trades of Alberta (BTA) is creating a new calendar to highlight Indigenous Role Models in the Trades. Each month will feature a member’s story, a quote on their success, and a QR code linking to a short video of them sharing their journey in their own words.

They’ve asked IBEW Local 424 to put forward recommendations for one of our members who:

Is Indigenous,
Has a great story to share, and/or
Has been with the Local for a long time.
Recording Dates:
Edmonton & Calgary
October 1–2, 2025

This is a chance to showcase the incredible contributions of our Indigenous brothers and sisters in the IBEW and to inspire the next generation of tradespeople.
