The Collective Bargaining Agreement Ratified

 

Between the: 

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 424 (IBEW) 

and

The Electrical Contractors Association of Alberta (ECAA)

 

I am happy to share some exciting news with you. The recent I.B.E.W. Local Union 424 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) vote has been a huge success, and I am thrilled to report that we achieved an incredible 58% voter turnout, which has exceeded any other voter turnout in recent history, with that said, it was also an overwhelming 77% in favour of the agreement.

This result is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in the negotiation process, including our Bargaining Team and Union Representatives. It also demonstrates the strong commitment and solidarity of our Membership.

With this new Agreement, we have secured important improvements in our working conditions, wages, and benefits. We have also addressed several key issues that were of concern to our Membership.

I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to everyone who participated in the voting process. Your voice has been heard, and your vote has made a significant difference in shaping our collective future.

As we move forward, I encourage all Members to stay engaged and active in our Union. Together, we can continue to build a stronger and more prosperous workplace for all.
