Managing Anxiety During a Pandemic: The COVID-19 pandemic is a period of extreme uncertainty. In times like these, people have heightened levels of anxiety. They have so many questions to which there are no definite answers. This course examines the causes and symptoms of anxiety. It also explores strategies that can be used to manage and alleviate anxiety. Course length: 0.5 hours.

Whether you’re struggling with mental health, addictions or in other areas, BTA is here to help you start your path tohealing.
For the next four weeks, members of any Building Trades of Alberta affiliated local and their families will have freeaccess to the confidential, 24/7 counselling services of Morneau Shepell, a company whose counsellors are trained tolisten and offer professional psychological support.
This Member Assistance Program is completely confidential within the limits of the law. No one, including theassociation, will ever know you have used the service unless you choose to tell them.
Again, there is no cost to use the program. If you need more specialized or longer-term support, your counsellor willhelp you select an appropriate specialist or service that can provide assistance, which may be covered by your unionhealth and welfare plan.
