Course Description

This course is available to IBEW 424 members who are eligible for Education Benefits. 

COURSE OBJECTIVE

During this 2-day St. John Ambulance course, students will learn to recognize and provide interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical help arrives. Topics include: 1 and 2-rescuer CPR and choking, shock and unconsciousness, severe bleeding, wound care, major medical conditions, head, spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR/AED training and certification (Adult, Child, Infant).

  • If your current First Aid certification has not expired you may qualify to take the 1-day, Standard First Aid - Level C CPR & AED Re-certification through an approved training provider.  Contact a Training Administrator for more information. 
  • The 2-day Standard First Aid - CPR C & AED course can also be taken through an approved outside training provider.  This course is Reimbursable for Eligible Members up to $150.

This course begins at 8:30am, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete the COVID-19 Screening forms
