This 16-hour course provides an introduction of the concepts and principles of rigging a load safely. Gain an understanding of the equations by calculating actual tension and de-rated values to ensure proper component selection for the type of load. Learn to inspect and examine the characteristics of the most common rigging equipment. A written and practical examination concludes this course.
Basic PPE: Protective Footwear (Steel Toed Boots), Safety Glasses, Work Gloves, Long Sleeved Shirt, Long Pants and Hard Hat
