Course Description

This course is available to IBEW 424 members who are eligible for Education Benefits.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

This 16-hour course introduces the fundamentals of conduit bending.  

Over the course of the two-day hands-on training, participants learn the step-by-step procedures, calculations and common applications of EMT bending and installation.

Equipment Needed

Basic PPE: Protective Footwear (Steel Toed Boots), Safety Glasses, Work Gloves, Long Sleeved Shirt, Long Pants and Hard Hat, Calculator, Marking Pen & Pencil, 10” Level, Measuring Tape, Hacksaw, Side Cutters.

This course begins at 8:30am, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete COVID-19 pre-screening forms. 

Material required: protective footwear, safety glasses, work gloves, hard hat, 10 inch level, measuring tape, hacksaw, pliers, marking pen and pencil.
