Heat Trace Installation

This course is available to IBEW 424 members who are eligible for Education Benefits. 

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Learn the most effective and efficient practices of installing Mineral Insulated and Self Regulating electrical heat trace cable on pipe elbows, supports, flanges, valves and pumps, followed by the installation of end-of-circuit termination kits.

Equipment Needed

Basic PPE: Protective Footwear (Steel Toed Boots), Safety Glasses, Work Gloves, Long Sleeved Shirt, Long Pants and Hard Hat

This course will begin at 8:30am please arrive 15 minutes early to complete COVID-19 screening forms. 

Heat Trace Introduction is a prerequisite for this course.
