Course Description

This course is available to IBEW 424 members who are eligible for Education Benefits.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Introduction to MCC exposes the student to basic MCC installation techniques, with a focus on safe and efficient work practices to protect the worker and the equipment being installed. During this 8 hour hands-on session, the student will receive and place equipment, install cable from the MCC to a motor and motor control, and ultimately make a motor run.

Equipment Required

Basic PPE: Protective Footwear (Steel Toed Boots), Safety Glasses, Work Gloves, Long Sleeved Shirt, Long Pants and Hard Hat
