This is a 40 hour course designed to instruct Electricians on how to read and interpret Schematics and Wiring Diagrams associated with Substations and Power systems.
The course is 40 hours in length with 20 Students.
Course Outline:
- Use Device Identification Numbers
- Read and interpret Motor Control Schematics and Wiring Diagrams
- Read and interpret Circuit Breaker Control Schematics and Wiring Diagrams
- Read and interpret Motor-Operated Disconnect Switch Control Schematics and Wiring Diagrams
- Identify major components of Station Control and Protection Systems
- Read and Interpret Schematic and Diagrams for a Mimic Push Button Control Board
- Read and Interpret Schematic and Diagrams for Control System Interposing
- Read and Interpret Schematic and Diagrams for Control System Interfacing
- Read and Interpret Schematic and Diagrams for Complex Circuit Breaker Controls
- Use Trouble Shooting Techniques
