Red Seal Upgrade

This five session program has been created by the training centre to assist members who are planning to write or re-write their Interprovincial (IP) Red Seal exam.

The course includes a series of lectures covering single dwelling and apartment calculations, motor and motor bank calculations, three phase theory, conduit fill calculations, conductor de-rating calculations and power factor correction. Included in the course are a series of practice exams covering first to fourth year apprenticeship material and also numerous practice Red Seal tests.

Participants should bring a Sharp 520 calculator (this is what is provided by AIT when you write the IP exam) and the latest CEC code book to the class. In order to get maximum benefit from this course, participants should be prepared to commit a few hours of their time to work on the quizzes between classes.
