Confinced Space
The objective of this four-hour course is to give participants an introduction to the hazards associated with entering confined spaces. A further objective is to ensure that students demonstrate basic understanding of the methods of controlling these risks.
The topics covered in this course are:
• Regulations and responsibilities for confined space entry
• Confined space definition
• Confined space hazards, especially atmospheric hazards
• Classification of confined space entries
• Control of hazards
• Qualification and training of workers
• Emergency response plans
The HSE Integrated Confined Space Entry Course is approved by the Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA).

Duration: 4 hours
Participation: Minimum 8; maximum 20
Certification: HSE certificate
