This course on the will provide new and experienced operators with information and hands-on experience in the safe operation of their skid steer unit. The employer must ensure that a worker is trained in the safe operation of the equipment.
 
The operator will learn theory and hand on skills:
The fundamental information such as identification of key components, inspection, maintenance and operation of the skid steer. Participants will receive checklists that will aid them in performing pre-inspection, operational and post-operational inspections. important workplace safety known facts . Identification of buried facilities, limits of approach to electrical lines and equipment and emergency scenarios are a few important facts providing your operator with the tools to work safety a under many different work environments.

This course is limited to members who are actively working in a Substation Yard. Prior approval is required by the Board of Trustees to take this course.
