Registration Policies


The NO SHOW POLICY refers to eligible members who have registered for scheduled training and fail to attend. Members who NO SHOW for scheduled training will have their training account deactivated by the Electrical Industry Training Centres and will be required to pay a non-refundable no-show fee of $100.00*. Once the fee is paid, the account will be reactivated and the member will regain full access to their online training account and be able to attend courses at either centre. 


The Late Policy refers to registrants who arrive after the class has commenced. At the discretion of the instructor, a member who has arrived late can be denied admission.  All classes start at 8:00 AM.


Members registered for a course will receive email notifications to confirm their attendance and are required to select “CONFIRM” a minimum of 48 hours prior to course commencement date.   If a member does not confirm, their spot may be given to a member on the Wait List.  


Members may cancel courses without penalty providing EITCA is notified during office hours a minimum of 24 hours prior to scheduled training.  

Courses that commence on a Monday must be canceled before 3:30pm on the Friday before.


When courses fill, a Wait List option becomes available.   Adding yourself to a Wait List does not guarantee registration in a course. If a spot becomes available, an automated email is sent to everyone on the Wait List, the first member to respond to the link in the email takes the seat.  Members on a Wait List have the option to show up before 8:00 AM on the course start date to take a vacant seat if one becomes available.  Wait Lists do not carry forward to future courses.
